A Great Way To Help

We are pleased to have been covered by the Pensacola News Journal and WEAR-3 TV.

Great Way To Help creates great jobs and great job training for youth and those who are in need and are willing to work for a second chance by creating great self sustainable for-profit businesses and working with great businesses that already exist.  When you support Great Way To Help the resources that you provide are a hand up rather than hand out.

GreatWayToHelp.com is a project created by Eric Majors to help create great jobs for people that need a second chance, in particular people who are just coming out of prison and for youth who live in communities where they are at risk of making poor decisions in life.  Eric is a former international businessman who also went to prison and has endured the perils of not being able to attain gainful employment upon re-entering society even with his degree and vast experience.  Because there is no real substantive “second chance” that is available from government or other underfunded special programs or businesses Eric is using his experience and all that he has to turn things around for himself, his family and create a real second chance for others who are also in desperate need.

Your help is needed now more than ever because a real second chance only comes from people like you if you are willing to make a tangible contribution.  This is not a hand out but a hand up.  Make a contribution that will enable real people to build something that will sustain itself and grow to help thousands of people to thrive and overcome adversity.  Help us plant the seeds.  If you or someone you know has been struggling to obtain viable work after incarceration then you can do something to help.

Since last year the project is already beginning to achieve its goals by working with existing for-profit businesses and creating new for-profit businesses that are in demand and that can sustain themselves and that focus on hiring and training people who are in need of and willing to do the hard work necessary to leverage a second chance.

This first crowdfunding campaign is designed to help overcome the problems associated with obtaining reasonable financing that is needed to overcome the pains of growing the first business and obtaining the equipment necessary for expansion.

The project started one year ago with the help of friends and family and has already resulted in the successful creation of a small but profitable landscaping business in Florida known as HedgeMow (www.HedgeMow.com).  Working in cooperation with existing landscaping businesses HedgeMow is expanding rapidly, and is in need of critical financing to purchase 2 more vehicles, trailers and yard maintenance equipment and to pay off existing equipment.

If HedgeMow can obtain this equipment it will be able to hire up-to 4 new people this year and become profitable enough that it will be able to self finance its own rapid expansion in 2018.  The goal of HedgeMow is to move to other towns throughout the state of Florida and then to continue national expansion into other states.

The business is already desperately in need of this funding and no matter how long it takes GreatWayToHelp.Com will continue this crowdfunding campaign until it achieves its stated financial goals. Any money raised will be spent on obtaining equipment and paying down current accounts to maximize speed of growth. Of course we could use more money to help build this and other for-profit, self sustainable businesses so please feel free to contribute even after we have obtained our requested amount of financing.

If you know anyone that has been negatively affected by incarceration or if you just want to do something good where the money you are giving is a hand up and not just a hand out then please contribute.  We are committed to updating the entire world about our project and its success before, during and after any and all of these crowdfunding campaigns are completed.
